Nurse Training on Basic Hemodialysis

The Genesis Hemodialysis Training Program is a intensive but comprehensive 480 hour course designed to provide professional and non- professional participants who seek to enhance their knowledge in hemodialysis and provide them with an opportunity to learn hemodialysis in an organized, focus and details manner.

Hemodialysis Training Program will provide participants with the essential information and hands-on training needed to provide care for the patients on hemodialysis and to obtain an entry level position in dialysis. It will also enlighten the learner of the complexity of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and focus on the distinct role of the Registered Nurse.

Genesis Dialysis offers basic hemodialysis training for nurses. The training process is a four hundred and eighty (480) hours mentorship program aimed at introducing registered nurses on dialysis machine basics and dialysis patient care. The training is Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) and Renal Nurses of the Philippines (RENAP) accredited.

Training Requirements:

Requirements for the program include the following: (1) Basic Life Support Training; (2) IV Therapy Training; (3) PRC ID or Certificate; and (4) Training fee.
